Taking Birdie out for some sunshine and playtime
As seen in London. It turned out his master had football training a few meters away
and was keeping an eye on it. Odd and sweet.
Mid-September light
Not Summer anymore, and not quite Autumn yet.
I love this in-between season light, when you can still get away with pretending
it’s one or the other. We’ll miss those frank shadows soon.
Shooting the Eileen Gray show at The Aram Store, Covent Garden
I was recently commissioned to shoot the Aram store‘s 50th anniversary exhibition, featuring the iconic masterpieces of 20th Century design that were first introduced to the UK market by Aram Designs, with original pieces by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
The show on the second floor was entirely dedicated to Eileen Gray’s work (Zeev Aram holds the worldwide head license for her designs). I must say the pieces she designed while living in Garavan, Southern France, such as her Roquebrune rug or the Menton Table hold a special place in my heart.
Giving a feeling of complex spaces
Last month we photographed a beautifully renovated townhouse in Belgravia,
featuring complex spaces opening onto each over, with hardly any separation walls,
only framing the view onto the next volume.
